HARRY & HERMIONE MOMENTS

HARRY: "I've just thought -- Hermione." (PS/SS) | HERMIONE: "Harry! Harry are you alright?" (PS/SS) | HERMIONE: "Of course not. How do you think you'd get to the Stone without us?" (PS/SS) | QUOTE: Someone knocked into Harry as they hurried past him. It was Hermione. Harry caught a glimpse of her face -- and was startled to see that she was in tears. (PS/SS) | HERMIONE: They had almost reached the portrait hole when a voice spoke from the chair nearest them, "I can't believe you're going to do this, Harry." A lamp flickered on. It was Hermione Granger, wearing a pink bathrobe and a frown. (PS/SS) | HERMIONE: "Malfoy tricked you. You realize that don't you?" Harry thought she was probably right, but he wasn't going to tell her that. | HERMIONE: "I've been really worried and if Harry is alright, will you please let me know at once..." (COS) | HARRY: "I'm not going anywhere! One of my best friends is Muggle-born; she'll be first in line if the Chamber really has been opened -" (COS) | HARRY: "Hermione, are you okay?" (COS) | QUOTE: But Harry was only half-listening. He didn't seem to be able to get rid of the picture of Hermione, lying on the bed as though carved out of stone. (COS) | QUOTE: And together they walked back through the gateway to the Muggle world. (COS) | QUOTE: Hermione was still looking at him as though worried about his sanity. (POA) | QUOTE: Hermione suddenly smiled very mischieviously, and Harry noticed it too: it was a very different smile from the one he remembered. (GOF) | QUOTE: Fleur was clapping very hard too, but Krum didn't look happy at all. He attempted to engage Hermione in conversation again, but she was too busy cheering Harry to listen. (GOF) | "Hermy-own-ninny talks about you very often," said Krum, looking suspiciously at Harry. "Yeah," said Harry, "because we're friends." (GOF) | QUOTE: Harry moved over to sit next to Hermione, who awoke with a jerk as he put down his bag. (OOTP) | HERMIONE: "Isn't it obvious? I'm talking about you, Harry." (OOTP) | QUOTE: It was the first time she had ever said Voldemort's name, and it was this, more than anything else, that calmed Harry. (OOTP) | QUOTE: Harry sorted through his presents and found one with Hermione's handwriting on it. (OOTP) | QUOTE: Hermione walked right into him and was knocked over backward. Harry caught her just before she hit the forest floor. (OOTP) | QUOTE: Harry grabbed Hermione and pulled her to the ground. (OOTP) | QUOTE: Hermione grabbed Harry's arm as though frightened the floor might move too, but it did not. (OOTP) | QUOTE: "Harry Potter," said Harry. "Are you really?" said Hermione. "I know all about you, of course -- I got a few extra books for background reading, and you're in Modern Magical History and The Rise and Fall of the Dark Arts and Great Wizarding Events of the Twentieth Century." "Am I?" said Harry, feeling dazed. (PS/SS) | QUOTE: But Hermione had given Harry something else to think about as he climbed back into bed. (PS/SS) | QUOTE: Hermione hung her head. Harry was speechless. Hermione was the last person to do anything against the rules, and here she was, pretending she had, to get them out of trouble. (PS/SS) | QUOTE: Chess was the only thing Hermione ever lost at, something Harry and Ron thought was very good for her. (PS/SS) | QUOTE: Harry felt in the pocket of his robes and pulled out a Chocolate Frog, the very last one from the box Hermione had given him for Christmas. (PS/SS) | HARRY: "Lucky you pay attention in Herbology, Hermione." (PS/SS) | HARRY: "Whatever you've heard about my greatness is a load of rubbish. I'm not even top of my year at Hogwarts; that's Hermione, she -" But he stopped quickly, because thinking about Hermione was painful. (COS) | QUOTE: "Proud? Are you crazy? All those times I could've died, and I didn't manage it? They'll be furious..." - Harry to Hermione, when she asked whether his aunt and uncle will be proud of what he did. (COS) | QUOTE: But Harry could tell from the arrested look on Hermione's face that she was thinking what he was thinking. (COS) | QUOTE: Everybody was in their pajamas, and the celebration lasted all night. Harry didn't know whether the best bit was Hermione running toward him, screaming "You solved it! You solved it!" (COS) | QUOTE: Hermione's leg gave a nervous twitch next to him. (POA) | QUOTE: Harry and Ron stared at her with a mixture of amazement and admiration. They had never heard Hermione speak to a teacher like that before. (POA) | QUOTE: Harry knew that Hermione had meant well, but that didn't stop him from being angry with her. He had been the owner of the best broom in the world for a few short hours, and now, because of her interference, he didn't know whether he would ever see it again. (POA) | QUOTE: Harry looked up. Hermione was barely visible behind a tottering pile of books. (POA) | QUOTE: It looked like the end of Ron and Hermione's friendship. Each was so angry with the other that Harry couldn't see how they'd ever make up. (POA) | QUOTE: Hermione wasn't at lunch either. By the time they had finished their apple pie, the after-effects of the Cheering Charms were wearing off, and Harry and Ron had started to get slightly worried. (POA) | HARRY: "Is there any point asking how you're going to sit for two exams at once?" (POA) | HERMIONE: "You're going to be fine." (POA) | QUOTE: But Harry could tell Hermione didn't really believe what she was saying. (POA) | QUOTE: Hermione and Harry looked at each other, then followed at a sprint; it was impossible to run full out under the cloak... (POA)| QUOTE: Crookshanks was a little way along, his eyes flashing in the light from Harry's wand. Seconds later, Hermione slithered down beside him. (POA) | QUOTE: Harry glanced at Hermione, who looked very frightened but nodded. (POA) | QUOTE: Harry moved his head over on the pillow. In the bed to his right lay Hermione. Moonlight was falling across her bed. Her eyes were open too. She looked petrified, and when she saw that Harry was awake, pressed a finger to her lips... (POA) | QUOTE: Harry stared at her shadowy face. (POA) | QUOTE: Hermione's mouth was slightly open by the time Harry had finished. (POA) | QUOTE: At once, Hermione Granger's voice seemed to fill his head... (GOF) | HERMIONE: She reached up and pulled Harry back into his seat. "Honestly!" she said. (GOF) | QUOTE: Perhaps there was truth in what Malfoy had said; perhaps Hermione was in more danger than they were. (GOF) | HERMIONE: "Harry, come on, move!" Hermione had seized the collar of his jacket and was tugging him backward. (GOF) | QUOTE: Crookshanks wandered over to them, leapt lightly into an empty chair, and stared inscrutably at Harry, rather as Hermione might look if she knew they weren't doing their homework properly. (GOF) | QUOTE: But Hermione was right, Harry thought irritably, Professor Trelawney really was an old fraud. (GOF) | QUOTE: When he'd finally got all his clothes on the right parts of his body, he hurried off to find Hermione... (GOF) | QUOTE: He wanted to skip Divination to keep practicing, but Hermione refused pointblank to skive off Arithmancy, and there was no point in staying without her. (GOF) | QUOTE: Hermione suddenly smiled very mischievously, and Harry noticed it too: It was a very different smile from the one he remembered. (GOF) | QUOTE: Hermione had not spoken for ten minutes. She was sitting with her forehead in her hands, staring at her knees. Harry thought she too looked as though she could have done with a Pensieve. (GOF) | HERMIONE: "Bye, Harry!" said Hermione, and she did something she had never done before, and kissed him on the cheek. (GOF) | QUOTE: Still beaming, Hermione let go of Harry... (OOTP) | QUOTE: After several more minutes had passed, however, Harry was not the only one watching Hermione. (OOTP) | QUOTE: He imagined trying to conceal from Hermione that he had received T's in all his OWLs and immediately resolved to work harder from now on. (OOTP) | QUOTE: Harry did not speak to Hermione all through Charms, but when they entered Transfiguration he forgot about being cross with her. (OOTP) | QUOTE: Harry and Hermione moved together instinctively and peered through the trees. (OOTP) | QUOTE: Harry could feel Hermione shaking... (OOTP)
